I can thoroughly recommend Steve Steer at Garage Space Conversion, who undertook a large conversion of circa 1100sqft internally to provide a self-contained detached annexe/cottage.
Due to the originally construction of the garage, the conversion become more complex for Steve as the building inspector insisted on extra walls and roof supports which they organised swiftly and efficiently. The whole process was easy for us as Steve and the team took care of it all.
After the work was completed and we move my parents in-law into the property, the chaps came back to assist with how to operate the various systems.

We used Steve to build a self-contained annex from our double garage. The team was helpful from day one and even supplied an architect name to draw up and liaise with the council for planning permission. They were open to our ideas and also helped steer us in directions when we could not see how things would work. The amazing thing about using this team was their efficiency. Not only did they start earlier than planned – they stayed on site until they delivered a finished product. To me this is a rare occurrence for any building company or builder. I also want to highlight Tim – who was on the job from day one regardless of rain or shine and worked the full day.
